GLOUCESTER, England, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- A Gloucester, England, woman has beaten more than 130,000-to-1 odds by giving birth to three children on the same date in different years.
Kim MacKriell said her infant daughter, Ruby, was born Jan. 29 -- the same day her previous children, Robin, 14, and Rebecca, 12, The Times of London reported Tuesday.
University of Cambridge and London School of Economics statisticians said the chances of a family's three children sharing the same birthday in different years are 7.5 in 1 million.
"It was just an accident that Ruby was born on the same day," said the infant's sister, Rebecca, "but I'm really happy about it. Our parents were quite pleased but also quite shocked at the same time."
