Ingredients:
1/2 cup
snipped fresh mint or basil or 1/4 cup snipped fresh tarragon
1 recipe
Simple Syrup (see recipe below)
1-1/2
cups water
2 cups
ice cubes
Lavender sprigs
Lemon wedges
Instructions:
In a blender
container combine herb, syrup, and water.
Cover; blend
until nearly smooth. With blender running, gradually add ice cubes through
hole in lid, blending until slushy.
To serve, pour
into glasses and serve with lavender sprigs and/or lemon wedges.
Simple Syrup:
In a small saucepan combine 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup water. Bring just
to boiling, stirring to dissolve sugar. Cool; cover and chill at least
1 hour before using. Makes about 1/3 cup.
