Portable Coffee

 

Ingredients:
1 (1/4 ounce) package unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup cold water
1/2 cup sugar
1 3/4 cups hot coffee
1/4 cup Irish whiskey (or other alcoholic beverage) (optional)
whipped cream

Instructions:
1. Sprinkle gelatin over the cold water and let stand until soft, 5-7 minutes.
2. Combine sugar, coffee and whiskey. Add gelatin and stir until fully dissolved.
3. Divide mixture among 4 small coffee cups. Refrigerate until set. Dollop with whipped cream before serving.
