Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1-1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup margarine, softened
1-1/4 cups packed dark brown
sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 egg whites
1/3 cup water
2 cups semisweet chocolate
chips
1/3 cup chopped nuts
Instructions:
In medium bowl, combine flour,
baking soda and salt. In large mixer bowl, cream margarine, sugar, brown
sugar and vanilla. Beat in egg whites.
Gradually beat in dry ingredients
with water. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoons
onto lightly greased baking sheets.
Bake in preheated oven at
350°F for 10-12 minutes or until centers are just set. Let stand for
2 minutes.
Remove to wire racks to cool
completely. NOTE: You can reduce your calories and fat by using only one
cup of chocolate chips.
