Ingredients:
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
(aluminum free)
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup carob chips
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup poppy seeds
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1/2 teaspoon ground cardamon
1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup low or nonfat soy
milk
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup barley malt
1/4 cup rice syrup
Instructions:
Sift the flour, baking powder
and salt into a bowl. Stir in oats, raisins, carob chips, sunflower seeds,
poppy seeds, sesame seeds, cardamon and nutmeg. In a separate bowl, mix
vanilla, soy milk, olive oil, barley malt and rice syrup. Combine contents
of the two bowls and stir until mixed. Drop with spoon on cookie sheet.
Bake for 15 minutes at 350
degrees. Makes 24 medium sized cookies.
