Holiday Dangerous Toy List

Sling Shotz Blaster and N.R.G. Paintball top the annual list of dangerous
toys for the 2002 holiday season.
A suburban Chicago
optometrist, Dr. Phillip L. Kaufman, who has been making up the list for
25 years, urges parents to think carefully before stocking up on holiday
gifts.
"Stores are
putting toys that could blind children on their shelves for this year's
holiday rush," Kaufman said. He notes that this year manufacturers appear
to be lowering the ages for which toys are deemed appropriate.
Also on the
list: Hasbro's Nerf Air Tech 1000 for 6 and up, Pacific Playthings' Home
Depot 10 Piece Tool Set for 8 and up, Spinmaster's E Chargers Airplane
for 5 and up, and Dream Dazzlers' Swing N'Style Beauty Center for 5 and
up.
