ASPCA and Old Navy Launch Program To Shelter Dogs
Shep ahoy!
To kick off the debut of its cool-for-canine
ine of toys and accessories,
Old Navy has joined efforts with ASPCA National Shelter Outreach to help
"Make Pet Adoption Your First Option™."
Throughout the
entire month of March, Old Navy will donate $10 to the ASPCA for every
dog adopted through local shelters in New York, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles,
Seattle and San Francisco. Monies will be apportioned back to those shelters.
New pet adopters
will receive a Welcome Waggin' kit filled with Old Navy Dog Supply merchandise,
including a reflective collar and leash set, rope toy and portable water
bowl--plus pet-care tips from the ASPCA. And $1 from every purchase of
Old Navy Dog Supply made via Old Navy's website will be donated to the
"A" on the shopper's behalf.
"We're delighted
to partner with Old Navy during the launch of their unique new product
line," says Kathleen Akins, ASPCA Director of Corporate Marketing. "Monies
raised through this program will help us to help shelters in need so they
can increase pet adoptions and save more animals."
